I wouldn't mind watching Capitals games but since they are not my team to watch.. I should of explain more before.. I was looking for teams like Ottawa, Edmonton, or Colorado.. Any Canadian teams would be nice also since I'm from there.. I tried looking at CBC sports and tsn but can't seem to find any games there tho.. Any suggestions besides Capitals games?? I'm only here for college and if I wanted to see Capitals games I would go to see them live instead of watching them on tv.. I'm not crazy about Capitals either since they only have one good player I like which is Ovechkin.. thanks to everyone for helping me out here!!

I live in Northern VA and I get most of the Caps games with Comcast's Basic package. The games usually air on CSN or CSN+. Depending on the provider the channels are different but I definately know both Direct TV and Comcast air most Caps games. If you go to this website and type in your zip code in the top right corner it will tell you which channels the games come on for the different providers.

Hope this is helpful. I couldn't imagine life without hockey.

Next Time Versus blacks you out in DC, just get tickets for that same game and You won't miss the action.

I'll give U a link to know when they broadcast the next game caps home game.

We get the caps plus a lot others. If you have cable comcast sports net plays games all the time plus verses if you can find it. if you are in the district those channels are 10 and 7 on comcast. i know you can get them with other cable providers i just don't know the channel numbers. though it is true that with out cable you're out of luck, but Yahoo shows games some times.

I think you are SOL if you want to get canadian games and not pay for it. When I was in DC I was forced to get Centre Ice and thats when I got the CBC and TSN feeds. Never missed a HNIC after I had centre ice.

Check out this site:

One of the free webcasts for today (11/26) is Buffalo at Washington, 7 pm Eastern.

There are only 2 NHL webcasts for today, but there are usually a bunch more.

I used to live in DC also. You can get games there. It is on Comcast sports net. I used to get it with my extended cable package.
