Sounds like Murphy must have had bad luck every ding dong day of his life. hahaha

I once met retired Air Force Captain Murphy at a dinner engagement many years ago. He's the author of that law. He wrote it while conducting some aircraft tests at Edwards Air Force Base in California.
I'm a devotee of another law. One which makes Murphy's Law appear optimistic by comparison. It's Warnecke's Law:
"The odds are eight to five that the light at the end of the tunnel is on the front of an oncoming express train".

I know that all of those are true. Many times I've said "that will be easy".... only to be proven so wrong.
