When I feel this way I try to look for an event I'd like and invite someone I haven't seen in a while to go with me, though I will go alone if it's interesting. I send short thinking of you how are you doing- notes, emails, postcards, or phone messages to others. Sometimes they respond and suggest something to do, or a get together. Volunteer work on a cause you believe in can also be fun, rewarding, and something to look forward to. Perhaps you will have to create the something that you and others if you wish, can look forward to.

You mean, besides Y!A, right?
I read books, watch movies, play with my dogs, cook different foods, talk to friends, learn something new in a variety of ways like by surfing the net or learning Spanish which I am currently doing. Also volunteer at my church and take courses as I find the time to do. All that is fun for me.

Well I look forward to every weekend with my boyfriend because we have fun regardless of what we do and it is the only time I am happy because I am never happy at home as I dont get along with mum as she is difficult and stubborn.
I have two weddings, bucks night, hens night, birthday party, christmas work party, new years eve and baby shower to look forward to in the next month!!
Cheer up!

I'll sing Christmas songs in the car with my five year old and get the words wrong on purpose. There's few things as fun as giving a child a real belly laugh.

It has also been awhile for me too. I find it harder to have a good laugh when you get older. I have fun having meaningful conversations, listening to good music, watching nice movies, playing basketball, and the like.
