You posed the question correctly - who "deserves" to go...not who will earn their spot. It's totally possible that the team who earns it (by playing hard all season) will not be the one to play on the National stage. It's sad, but true.
I think Georgia/WV would be a great game, but I don't think we'll see that. It'll probably be OSU/WV.
I'm a HUGE Buckeye fan and as great as it would be to see them make it to New Orleans, it just doesn't mean as much when we sat idle for two weeks and watched the other teams fight, scrape and fall by the wayside. It would be excellent if we were playing as well.

Arguable? The Big 10 champ got raped last year by the SEC champ in the title game, and if it's Georgia and Ohio State this year, the same thing will happen again.
And WVU would be a NIGHTMARE matchup for the Buckeyes. OSU has trouble defending teams that can spread the field; that's all WVU does.

the only way Georgia is going to the National Championship is if Missou, WV, LSU, and VA Tech all lose. Then Georgia would get it @$$ kick by The Ohio State University. If the Buckeyes make it to the National Championship game you do not want to be the team to playing against them. They will blow out whoever they play. This is the best program in the country, and they will redeem themselves.

No one with two losses. I don't care how weak Hawaii's schedule was, if they're undefeated, they should go over ANY two loss team.
Kansas shouldn't go since they lost their last game, so I guess it should be Ohio State or West Virginia, if they don't lose too.
But after last years Nat'l Championship, I would not let Ohio State go. It's too long between games.
West Virginia vs. Hawaii!!! Yeah, right. That'll never happen.

West Virginia (OOPS, I just puked in my mouth a little bit) and the then # 2 team. WVU will beat Pitt, and then be #1(OOPS, I puked again)
OU lost to Tech, who took out Bradford in their opening drive, thus dooming that game AND their title hopes. Sh!t happens. OTHERWISE, OU would.
