Are you prejudiced against a certain name because of someone you know now or did in the past?

Has some bully from school or ex left you sour on a certain name, would it alter your first impression of someone because of their first name? What do you think?

Yes, I think everyone is a little prejudiced. Were it be a first love that dump you are where some one you loved was hurt or even kill you would always remember their name, and not like the next person with that same name.

Yeah ... I kinda hold a grudge against men named Jason.

Ex husbands name.

But ironically I am currently dating a man named Jason, hoping it goes better this time. If it doesnt though... you can imagine the grudge I might hold to that name.

Yes, knowing someone awful with a certain name does ruin that name for you.

Yeah.... There's just something about the name Simon Legree that raises the hairs on the back of my neck.

Yes I do,but nothing to do with hating everyone whose name is the same as that person.

I would say yes cuz in my experience alot of people with the same name have the same characteristics.

Yeah, I hate the name Paul! My old boss's name was Paul and he was a sexist, discriminatory a**hole. Unfortunately Paul is a pretty common name.

Tonya was a girl who cheated with my ex husband. I hate that name!

unfortunately there are 2 names in my head that remind me of bad memories. but of course it will never affect my future relationships. I hate prejudice.
