What makes FIFA think Kazakhstan is in Europe. I would have thought it was in Asia.

It's a bit like Israel being in Europe or Australia being in Asia really...

europe and asia are separated by the ural mts. if you look on a map the urals end somewhere near the center of kazakhstan. it's understandable that some one might get the idea that it's in europe as well as asia.
