I've read about this in my magazine today. Is anyone on it and would share there experiences with me?! It sounds good to not have a period at all, would my doctor just swap me onto it off my other pill?
Thanks :)

I've never taken Lybrel (still too new) but I take a different brand of pill to stop my periods. I stop my periods due to medical problems related to endometriosis. Sometimes it can be a good thing to stop a period if someone has a medical problem like endometriosis. Sometimes on occasion it may be ok to stop a period for a week or two if someone is going on vacation but this issue of stopping periods long term in someone who doesn't have medical problems is one that is continuously and hotly debated among doctors.

I don't know that we'll ever really know the answer for sure on that.

As for whether or not your doctor would just swap you on to this one after being on your other pill is hard to say. It would also depend on your medical history overall.
