The highest rate of acceptance to any UC is via the California CC route.
So...will it affect your chances of attending UCSD? Yes, in a good way.
Good luck!

You will probably have to attend a 4 year university in between the community college and UCSD school of pharmacy. If you grades are good, then you shouldn't have any issues.

If you get a bachelors, it won't hurt you. However, if you try to apply to a pharmacy school after 2 years, it will hurt. At my school, less than 5 students each year are pure CC students, and they have stellar GPAs and PCAT scores. The fact that you are in CA anyway means the BS is a defacto requirement for you.

no, just get good grades. lots of people transfer from cc to 4 year colleges. also, do stuff you can put on your resume. good grades & test scores may not be enough. do some volunteer work, the more years you have, the better so start now if you haven't already. make sure you do especially well in any prerequisites for entry into the program.

It shouldn't, provided you have top scores, perhaps in honor society, and are involved in community works. My former math tutor went from our cc to a 4 year to major in biology and is now at the UofM doing pharmacy.

If you are directly applying to a pharm school after 2 years of CC, than it is a negative. If you get a bachelors than it won't affect you.
