I plan to do a presentation about the benefits of English as a global language.And I think about how English can help protect the environment,such as extinct animals.Please give me some advices or useful sources of information.

One major factor in protecting the environment is our ability to communicate, and since English is already widely spoken as a first or second language, it's a good candidate for the role of global language. People who can speak and write well play a critical role in getting any idea across.

However, since most English -speaking countries are pretty developed and well off, urging in English that developing countries curb the environmentally dangerous practices that are helping them progress in the short run may be seen as an attempt by those who have already achieved a high standard of living to prevent others from doing the same.

wel if English was a globval language there would be less attacks due to the language barrior would disappear. less racist attacks would occur also.
