Whenever "Do You Hear What I Hear?" comes on the ol' radio, I always think of the permed-out mom rollin' around in that house, all alone, with the huge damn steak knife.

'Don't feed mogwais Popeye's chicken after midnight' is most definitely a Christmas theme. It is probably the preeminent one, actually.

Or SHOULD be.

Heck yeah! Of course it is. There's nothing that really defines Christmas like a creepy Chinese guy selling you a furball that multiplies into monsters. Plus destruction and violence adds onto the spirit.

I don't really consider a movie that takes place at christmas time a "Christmas Movie" because the theme of the movie is not Christmas.

I wouldn't consider it a Christmas movie. It takes place at Christmas time, I just never put it in the category with "A Christmas Story" "Jingle All The Way" and "Scrooged" just a few of my favorite Christmas movies.

Gizmo was a Christmas present, it's set at Christmas, there's a happy ending and you could (maybe) argue there's a moral. Yes, I think that makes it a Christmas movie.

I could also say the same about Lethal Weapon or Die Hard. What do YOU think??

By the standards of most movie stores, it is considered a XMas film. Why, I have no idea. But I loved that movie. I used to work at Blockbuster, and it is considered an XMas film.

I had a doggy named Gizmo as quickly as. He turn into carian terrier, pekanese, and poodle. long curly black and white fur. He even had the temper of a gremlin as quickly as they have been given moist. Craziest little canine ever.
