I aspire to be a commmercial pilot one day, and I would really like a earn a degree, because I know that if one wants to be a major airline pilot, he/she must hold a degree, I guess to be more clear about my question, Im wondering if my chances of being a better candidate improve by graduating with a degree from either of those schools listed in my question, OSU or ERAU?

Embry Riddle is a regional specialty school. US News ranks it at #13 in the Southern Master's category. This means it is a reasonably good school.

On the other hand, Ohio State is a highly regarded public university. More importantly, if you are interested in Aeronautical Engineering -- its Engineering school is highly regarded (it is ranked higher than the university as a whole).

From my perspective, Ohio State is the better school -- by far. However, most of the other universities i the Beg Ten have even better aeronautical engineering programs.

One way to determine which school is better is to compare
who it admits. Here's how the middle 50% of their recent freshman classes compare:

Ohio State
SAT - Critical Reading Middle 50%: 530-640
SAT - Math Middle 50%: 560-670
TPR Projected Range SAT Writing: 590-680
ACT Composite Midldle 50%: 24-29
Students in top 10% of HS class: 43%
Total applicants who are accepted: 68%

Embry Riddle Aeronautical University-Arizona
SAT - Critical Reading Middle 50%: 470-610
SAT - Math Middle 50%: 520-640
TPR Projected Range SAT Writing: 560-670
ACT Composite Midldle 50%: 22-27
Average High School GPA: 3.46
Students in top 10% of HS class: 27%
Total applicants who are accepted: 88%

Embry Riddle Aeronautical University -Florida
SAT - Critical Reading Middle 50%: 460-580
SAT - Math Middle 50%: 500-630
TPR Projected Range SAT Writing: 540-650
ACT Composite Midldle 50%: 21-26
Average High School GPA: 3.28
Students in top 10% of HS class: 21%
Total applicants who are accepted: 82%

In terms of being a better school overall, Ohio wins hands down. Any school which admits over 80% of all applicants isn't being very selective.

Whether the education you get at either Embry Riddle will put you on the career path you want more reliably than a degree from a "better" school, only the airlines know. You might be wise to see if you can find several pilots online of whom you can ask this question.
