LOL Elaine beat me to it! Hats off to Elaine, you are absolutely correct that it is a possesive pronoun which acts as an adjective. But did anyone mention that it is also an exclamation, like "wow" or "ouch"? My, you guys missed that point of trivia, LOL. Thanks for the fun question.

Second person, possessive pronoun.

ALL possessive words are used as adjectives:

The dog's bone: 'dog's' modifies bone
MY home: 'my' modifies 'home'

Using possessives as adjectives is an advanced grammatical concept--senior highschool stuff. Don't know the age/situation of the asker, but the answer is YES.

"My" is a pronoun. Second person, possessive.

Yes, it's a possessive pronoun, but it's used as an adjective: my book. Here, it modifies "book" so it's also an adjective. Confusing, no? But that's language for you!!
