I asked how people's Thanksgiving went, and I got an aswer deleted that wasn't bad, but the other was so I can't really fight it, but I am pissed off.

Without knowing the specifics, it is difficult to say.


I do find that what they call "community guidelines" are rather arbitrary and flexible...

It got deleted because there were prolly a million "hows your thanksgiving" questions on the servers

I guess they figured that they dont a need bunch of the same questions floating around

If you asked how Thanksgiving went, Yahoo would consider that chit chat and you would be in violation of the community guidelines. Believe me, I've violated them often enough so I should know. I also think Yahoo should get rid of the no chit chat rule.

By "the community" means some group of people has reported your question.

Some users have nothing better to do.
