Why do some continue to deluge us with thier revised view of the facts?Specifically:
No WMD's: Fact:Nerve gas is a WMD as is a biological weapon.Saddam had both.
NAFTA fiasco:Signed by Bill Clinton supported by Hillary.
Loss of American manufacturing jobs:directly attributable to NAFTA.

True Dat man. My personal favorite revised history is that of Christopher Columbus. Ask any 10 year old what kind of man Columbus was and they'll say he was an evil man with out a doubt. Makes me angry sometimes. Oh yeah, and Jefferson was a terrible man because he owned slaves, and George Washington was gay. This is making me angry just typing this.

It wasn't just about Saddam once having Nerve Gas or another WMD. It was the fact that the President told us that Saddam was hiding WMDs from the UN, he had ties to Al-Qaeda and the 9/11 attacks, and that he was in the process of arming Al-Qaeda for an imminent attack on the US with WMDs. All of these points have been proven wrong (which even President Bush admits). Thus the reasons we went to war were based off of faulty intelligence or out-right lies. If it is the former then President is responsible for the deaths of every American soldier that died in the war because it was his job (and his alone) to interpret the intelligence and make the best decision possible for the country on whether to go to war or not. If it is the later then the President should be immediately impeached and brought up on severe charges.
How do we know if the President was mistaken or lied to us...we need a congressional investigation.
As for NAFTA - Every former President backed NAFTA. It is not the fault of the Republicans or the Democrats, it is fault of all of our leaders in Washington.

I feel you, all this revisionist history is utter bull, especially when people try to glorify, say, China and other cultures, yet call their own background (generally from Europe) evil, bloody, gory, and horrendous, when ALL cultures were like that. Yes, even the tribes of the Americas where not that different from that of Europe. Slave owning, wars, massacres, human sacrifices, everything that is atributed with being the evils of Europe can just as easily be assciated with that of any other culture in the world.
As for the WMDs, many "revisionists" say that Saddam NEVER had WMDs of any sort, yet mass graves are being found all over Iraq of civilians being used as lab rats for his weapons.

Clinton was president--they just sign bills He did not create this bill, he was for it, but so was a republican controlled House and senate.
Nafta got a 2/3 approval rate from a republican controlled congress
