I was told u cant make up on lost sleep.. And if i could, then what time would I need to go to bed? I need to get back on a normal sleep schedule now. Help is appreciated, thanx.

Just start going to bed earlier than you have been. Try going to bed around 10 or 11 at night and just lay there, try not to think about how the day went or how the next day may go, just try and relax. Do your best to get on a regular sleep schedule.

You can catch up on sleep but do it on a day that you are free. Go to bed around your regular sleep time, don't set the alarm and wake up on your own. You'll have caught up on the sleep that your body needs. Naps are another way your body catches up on the sleep you need. If you feel tired during the day and you have the chance to take a nap, then do it.

If you don't sleep enough, you damage your body. Some of it is permanent, some of it can be repaired. The extent is minor for a few hours lost, but if you do this for months or years, it's going to be worse. The effects might appear soon or when you get older.

You cannot prepare for this damage, e.g. sleep now for 30 hours so that you wouldn't have to sleep for 10 days.

You cannot really catch up on it. But during sleep, your body heals itself more than while being awake. So, if you don't feel well (maybe due to only those few hours that you get), get a few good portions of it. I think the average amount is 7-8 hours.
