Staring only straight ahead, i set out
because i have no regrets for yesterday,
which is done.
I do not need serenity, i want solitude.
Without solitude i cannot chase my dream.
Space! Oh frozen sea of stars!
My spirit will continue to defy you!
The colder and stricter you become
the hotter my blood will likely
continue to burn.
The increasing scars i have
in exchange for freedom, and burning pain
are signs that i live.
There was also a day when
I stopped walking in love
that too is part of the faraway past
Space! Oh, parched wasteland of stars!
Let's stake everything on this life of mine!
The only thing I am after
is just a life, at the end of which i can laugh as i die.

My feet are well and truly planted firmly on the ground these days, the dream world had to go.

Dream World! Dude I wish I could plant my feet some were real deep but I cant! Life sucks to much to live in reality. I keep thinking one day my dream world and the real world will meld together thus reality as I know will be come a dream.

Everyone should dream from time to time, it is what makes life interesting. Sometimes those dreams come true and then life gets very interesting indeed. But keeping one's feet on the ground is not about not dreaming, it is more to do with not letting any success go your head; not getting 'above yourself', not believing that you are better than everyone else. So by all means stay grounded but let your head wander in dreamland from time to time.

I go into my own little worlds when the teacher has been mono toning for to long - but i thought everyone did that!
Also i use dream world to get myself of to sleep - i can relate that back to lessons as well.
I have many dream-worlds / scenarios i can relax into.

Now that you mention it I actually live in la la land; lol, my hubby is the one that has his feet firmly planted on the ground.
