I BELIEVE HE DESERVES WAY MORE THEN WHAT WE GIVE HIM OF COURSE. I KNOW IN MY HEART I FEEL GUILTY ALL THE TIME, I WORK MON-SAT AM A SINGLE MOM WITH 2 KIDS AND I WISH I HAD THE ENERGY TO DEDICATE MORE THAN A DAY FOR HIM. MORE KNOWING THAT MY KIDS NEED TO BE ORIENTED THAT WAY. BUT IN THIS SOCIETY IT JUST GETS HARDER AND HARDER. OUR BUSY SCHEDULES, ALL THE ARONS THAT NEED TO BE DONE TO KEEP THE HOUSE MOVING SMOOTHLY DURNING THE WEEK ITS TIRING. I KNOW IN MY PART I WILL KEEP TRYING TO MANAGE SOME WAY AROUND MY BUSY SCHEDULE TO FIND MYSELF AND MY KIDS TO MAKE SOME TIME FOR HIM. HE DESERVES IT ALL.

I'm sorry you think that people are so 'bad' ... but my husband and I are Catholics, and while we don't go to church every Sunday, we do far more than it might seem. We both have long prayer lists that we pray through EVERY DAY as we are going about our 'daily lives' and we thank God every time we go for a walk and see a tree, bush, flower, or grass, a child, an elderly person, or a homeless person. We give money to charities that help the homeless, because we have both been homeless in the past, and we know that we now have good lives and money because of God's bringing us together at the WORST time of our lives. Yes, God DOES deserve better, but God also gave us 'free will' and He understands that many can't or won't think much about him. What we find the MOST WONDERFUL is that in the end, God will still welcome ALL OF US into Heaven after we die. Yes, some will have to spend some time in Purgatory/Hell (like summer school in a hot, dry building), but ALL OF US will go to Heaven in the end ... and then we will all learn 'the rest of the story.' Think about this ... you are 'complaining' about how we treat God, but what do YOU do to make your life straight with God? You are 'complaining' but what do YOU do if you see a homeless, sad, or sick person who may need a hand, and not a sermon. Think about this ... then LIVE the way Christ taught us to live ... he HELPED EVERYONE, and he didn't 'preach' at them. And Christ did love a good party ... at Cana, and when he gave the Sermon on the Mount ... he first made sure everyone was comfortable and fed ... THINK ABOUT THIS as YOU go about YOUR DAY. And have a very MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Don't we as humans deserve more from God?
How about a simple appearance here that is unquestionable to all, so that all religions will unite and world peace can finally be achieved?
Allow people a freedom of choice on what they do on their days of the week. That is my opinion.

for Eug B, if we evolved from single cell organism, we must be so simple and stupid. God deserve better true. However, humans always seek to be boss like Eug B here. So when you are the VIP, you don't need to give other ppl a thought, much less God who you cannot see.

Eug B has fooled himself with out asking where that single cell organism has come from. There is a "god" out there and he deserves as much as you feel you need to give him. Putting your trust beyond yourself is human nature and healthy for you soul. If you give god every day and trust him every day praise him everyday because that is what you feel he deserves. You are improving yourself healing your soul. And if god made us he wants us to be healthy and happy. so that is what he deserves.

Well, given that god has no objective reality at all, and thus this is an academic question, I'd say the murdering, psychotic, drivelling moron as revealed in the pages of the bible deserves a spit in the eye and little more!

God deserves our love and gratitude and obedience. He created us and He will restore us. He has much more to give us than we accept. And, yes, He deserves our obedience to His commandments, like loving Him and treating people as we would want to be treated, and the seventh day of the week and one tenth of our income. Compared to Him giving us life and salvation, that's a very small gift we give in return. It's not that hard.

There are at least 3,000 different beliefs in a deity on Earth, so which of the 3,000 different gods are you referring to?
Still - you have a point. We should all take a moment to appreciate the wonder of what is all around us. After all, how many of us have ever created a universe? Even if the creation of the universe is entirely natural, its still fantastic and amazing.

The answer really is within yourself. You can't control any one person's ideals or living style. How you deal with yourself in giving time to confer with God ultimately returns contentment and peace. Allow others their beliefs.
