What were your damages? How much work did you miss, what were the costs of your medical care, etc.? You are entitled to be compensated for your losses, but if you're looking for a big payoff, I'm against it.

If you get a big payoff, the insurance company which pays most of it will raise its rates on the rest of us. The restaurant will raise its prices, or lay off employees, if it has to pay a large sum.

And why did you allow yourself to be harrassed every day? The first time, you give the manager a warning, and the second time, you file a complaint. Allowing it to go on for a period of time weakens your case.

I'm sorry, but the kind of "sexual harrassment" which includes leering and rude comments is not comparable to the kind where the boss chases the female employee around the desk, or threatens to fire her if she doesn't comply. You didn't state which it was in your case, but I'd be willing to bet it was the first.

If you are in the process of suing, don't you have a lawyer who has stated a recommended amount as a guideline to you?

You don't say more than a category the harassment falls into. You don't make any note of what exactly occurred to even imply what you should ask for, via harassment and damages concurring from.

There are sexual harassment laws, then there are most likely previous guidelines indicating how much others in the past have acquired.

If you have hired a lawyer for this case, that is who you should be asking as you have paid for an educated answer.
