I started spotting at first when I called my dr they had me come in for a blood test. it wasnt until later in the day that my blood got heavier. But by that time I already knew I was going to have a m/c since my progesterone levels were too low for the pregnancy.
so I would say bleeding is a major sign to it. (people will tell you cramping. but I never once cramped) it feels just like a period that isnt supposed to be coming!!

When I had a miscarriage back in July, I started spotting at first.. and 5 days later I ended up completing the miscarriage. It started with brown spotting.. turned pink.. then red and I had terrible back pain. I went to my Dr. at noon on a Thursday.. and started having "contractions" on my way home around 3:30. By 4:45 I had completed the miscarriage. It was truly one of the most heart wrenching experiences ever...
I know it is different for every woman.. some never bleed or cramp at all..

No not necessarily. My sister had a miscarriage and didn't bleed. She went into the Dr. for a normal checkup and they couldn't pickup the heartbeat. They did an ultra sound and didn't see one either. She wasn't having any symptoms. But don't worry yourself too much over this, most of the time tou will bleed. If you ever have any concerns just call your Dr.'s office, I am sure they will be glad to ease your mind.

there is a possibility but you also might not bleed but they say bright red blood is a sign of miscarriage or threatened miscarriage.. but it also could be okay because i have had bleeding in my pregnancy and the baby is fine but i know god wouldnt take my baby bec my fiance was killed in a car accident 5 days after conception so his life was taken for this babys but i have had gushes of blood and they thought i was having a miscarriage and looked on ultrasound and the baby is fine heartbeat is good and the baby was moving around
