Nietzsche's philosophy is usually blamed for being the ideological foundation for the Nazi State, which is, of course, totally false. Nietzsche's philosophy had little common ground with Hitler's racist ideologies. However, Nietzsche's philosophy of the Will to Power, its repudiation of the decadent Christian values, and its prophecy of a future Superman, was used to good advantage by Nazi propagandists. This is much like Paul the Apostle using the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth to construct his peculiar brand of crackpot religion. Another expert propagandist!

Nietzsche was actually advocating Classical values of ancient Greece and Rome that had been destroyed by the Christian faith, and advocated a society more like Sparta, than Nazi Germany. One might be surprised to find that Plato, in his Republic, had ideas similar to Nietzsche. Plato was also a big fan of the Spartan system.

Aliester Crowley, the British occultist and "wickedest man on Earth" believed that any society that put his Book of the Law into its system, could not fail. The influence of Crowley on the Nazis is unfortunately underestimated and Nietzsche overestimated.

Both Kaiser Bill and Hitler were admirers of Nietzche, who advocated "Eugenics"............ the basis for "racial purity" and the holocaust.

It is worthy of note that Sweden actively invokes eugenics in their social policies.
