Well liberals will most likely flip-flop once the election nears. They probably will call for an increase in troops. How in the world could anyone think that we are losing in Iraq? We have never lost a battle and have lost less soldiers and Marines than in any major combat ever. Liberals by nature are in not tune with the American people nor reality.

The Iraqi's want us OUT!!! They only want us to stay long enough for their Army and police forces to get to the manned levels that they need so the US can start to draw down its forces. This has nothing to do with "liberal spin" - this IS the situation in Iraq. And the surge has had an effect, but that isn't the same as saying that it "has been successful so far" - if that was true, why are there still soldiers dying and IEDs blowing up in Iraqi markets? Stop blaming the libs - Iraq was invaded because of a Bush LIE, and the CIA Threat Assessment report PROVES this.

BTW: I'm a moderate, and 6 out of 10 Republicans now want a "change of course" for this country because they are dissatisfied with the way Bush is running the country and foreign policy - ESPECIALLY foreign policy.

Sure, we can let our troops stay. And since Iraq is so oil rich, considering the cost of oil now, they can afford to rebuild their own country and pay for our presence.

The surge may have helped, and it is not the same chaotic Iraq because their people have FLED the country!

its funny they always used the argument "Bush keeps changing the reason for the Iraq war" line but now the libs have progressed to the "look how much the war is costing" line. this was ofcourse after the "we shouldnt be there" until we are asked to be there, "we have lost" until it was shown we are winning. and on and on. But dont question their patriotism, question their intelligence.

by the way hows that war on poverty going libs....

Well, of course a Bush-backed Iraqi government wants us to stay. Halliburton still has millions to make in Iraq.

By the way, where are those WMD's that Saddam had stuffed under his palace like Wile E. Coyote?

So we want to be more like Israel? Why do we want to stay there, except to make sure the oil keeps flowing through western companies, ok fine. If you think people are going to stand by and watch this happen over there, what makes them so different. What would you do, given their position?

They'll still be doing the same old thing, blaming President Bush, the US Military and the rest of the USA who have relatives in Iraq and Afghanistan!!

The surge has reduced the violence to -pre-surge levels, but it is still higher than in any previous year.

It is not working.

Moreover, with all the attention paid to this war, the President has done virtually nothing to control gas prices, inflation or the faltering economy.

He was my governor and he was incompetent then too.

This is not about liberal or conservative, it is about effective leadership. Not since Carter has a president been so incompetent. I never thought I'd see someone who was worse then Carter.

I'm sure Reagan is roling over in his grave at what has happened to his party.

So by "success", you mean only several hundred Iraqis are being killed each month by violent means of civil unrest...

That's nice.
