Without a doubt that would be The Union Underground....they were an industrial rock/metal band that came out with an awesome cd in the early 2000s.....they toured on Ozzfest and such and became big for a while..they did songs for the wwe and stuff too....i love their music and still listen to it....they broke up and went on to form other bands like disturbed, 3-faced and cult to follow....the union underground are one of my all time favorites even though they only had one album....

The Paupers was a Toronto based group, that like many, imploded after releasing their first album in the late 1960s. The drummer was Skip Prokop who has been in a number of popular groups. he had a heart attack a few years back so I don't know if he is still playing.
The album is entitled Magic People and strangely, I heard a cut played a few months back.
The other favourite is Kensington Market, also late 1960s and they disbanded shortly after its release. I have also heard a cut from this album in the past few months. Thank goodness for CRTC Canadian content rules.

The Union Underground or Stage......Two very different bands, but both groups put out excellent debut albums and then broke up.

Operation Ivy only released one LP...Energy in 1989.
They are by far my favorite band to only release one album. I can think of several others that did as well, but don't come close in terms of my personal enjoyment, and overall legacy in music.

Stiltskin were quite a good band when they were around. They were made famous because of a song called Inside being used as the music to a Levi advert.
