I actually had the opportunity to catch a few episodes last night, and one had Lionel Richie and Homer doing some lyric changes to one of his songs. Lionel singing "Beer You, Beer Me" had me giggling for quite a while.

The White Stripes appearance is one of my favorites
The Homerpalooza episode too
I loved the R.E.M episode
Red Hot Chili Peppers
When the B-52's sang the song "Glove Slap" instead of "Love Shack" when Homer was going around slapping people with his duelling glove
The Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp episode
Michael Jackson
The Ramones
I must also mention Barry White and Johnny Cash- neither episode was one of my favorites but its cool that they made appearances before they died
N*Sync and 50 Cent's appearances were my least favorites
Also, i loved when Homer sings along to classic songs on the radio. Like i seen an episode today where he sang 'Two Tickets To Paradise', and then sang the riff.

I haven't really watched any new episodes in a few years, so I'm not really up to date, but I'd go with Bettie. I know it doesn't really count, but I love the episode where Homer shares a room in an asylum with a guy who thinks he's Michael Jackson.
Oh, and the one where Homer goes to a fantasy rock camp, with Keith Richards, Mick Jagger, Tom Petty, Elvis Costello, Lenny Kravitz...
And the one with The Who was pretty good too.

Happy Monday! I thought the episode in which The Beastie Boys made their appearance was pretty good. I gotta say, also, that I haven't watched the Simpsons in a while, so that's the only one that stuck out.
Sergio - The Ramones episode was a downright classic indeed!! :-D

Back in '96, I got real excited when the Smashing Pumpkins were on there, they were my band at the moment. But I think the episode with Aerosmith was very funny. I also liked that Paul, George, and Ringo from The Beatles all made appearances.

I'm with Dave, Homerpalooza was a good episode and had a lot of great guest musicians in it.
From The Simpsons movie, Green Day being sucked into the polluted lake was entertaining.

I barely remember the episode, but looking over the list, Aerosmith is my favorite out of the bunch. I'm having a real hard time remembering Hank Jr. being on.... must have been a football knock off.

There have been many but I still like the episode with RHCP - mostly because Flea's pension for wearing nothing but thighty whities encouraged Chief Wiggum and the other officers to follow suit.

This was very tough because I'm not really a fan of The Simpsons. In fact, I'm trying to figure out how it's lasted twenty years when we couldn't even get ten out of Seinfeld or Beavis & Butthead. I seem to recall an episode with Sonic Youth, that was pretty cool.
