sorry it will take you longer time to die, if you cut your wrist. You will need to damage your flexor retinaculum and possibly damage your ulnar nerve. The flexor retinaculum is thick so it takes you longer time...
In the movies or television it is exaggerated ;-)

I don't think you will actually die cutting your wrist. You really are not going to loose enough blood.

chances are you wont die- you'll just have really sore wrists for a long time.

You won't. Your blood will clot and stop before you get that far.
