His theories on this issue have totally been condemned and his pre booked talks prior to him coming to London were cancelled because people are not fooled by his rubbish. There is a thin line between madness and intelligence and he crossed the line on this one. That's what can happen when cognitive processes go wrong, hence he had theories that were passed onto him from his father, who was a Nazi.

One of the greatest sociological thinkers and the man classed as the founder of Sociology Ibn Khaldun also said some racist and mad things such as people are darker skinned because they get burned by the Sun when they are the mothers tummy. I personally think that these scientists spent too much time in the laboratories sniffing the gas and that's why they end up crazy.

I guess he did his research and said it the way he felt. There has been a lot of backlash against researchers that looked at race/ethnicity when studying either medical or social issues. Its taboo to draw conclusions relative to race/ethnicity. However, it is becoming more acceptable as recent research has benefited some groups.

This reminds me of the "Bell Curve" book controversy. Its unclear if African people or Black people in America would be less intelligent than their white, Asian, or Latino counterparts solely based on genetics. Environment has a lot to do with it as well. Anyone living in a poor environment such as some areas in Africa would probably not do too well on an IQ test.

His views are supported by Prof.Richard Lynn in his academic study and paper but it is not PC for the White Liberals of the World to acknowledge facts and so they have to condemn him.See :

Furthermore you can also read Darwin or perhaps the words of Dr Albert Schweizer, a former Nobel Peace Prize winner, who wrote in his book:
I have given my life to try to alleviate the sufferings of Africa. There is something that all white men who have lived here like I must learn and know: that these individuals are a sub-race. They have neither the intellectual, mental, or emotional abilities to equate or to share equally with white men in any function of our civilization. I have given my life to try to bring them the advantages which our civilization must offer, but I have become well aware that we must retain this status: the superior and they the inferior.Dr. Albert Schweitzer, winner of the 1952 Nobel Prize for peace, in his 1961 book, From African Notebook.-

thanks farah for showing us this interesting article.
dr watson seems to be racist.
but on reflecting on his views, i tend to see his point of view.
some genes make specific individuals excel in some skills.
for example, blacks generally are well built, tall , and strong. therefere, they are members of american and european sport teams , and they make the teams win.
this skill is well marked. on the other hand, humans who are skillful in sports, may be less skilled in intellectual practices.
no one can be 100% skilled physically and mentally.
so, it is nature's just distribution of points of strength. africans are strong physically and less intellectual than whites.
on the other hand, whites who are intellectual are less skillful in physical tasks.
it is a matter of natural distribution of strength.
whites are intellectual, but blacks are physically stronger.

it's sad that people in the 21th centrury still care about stereotypes, being white doesn't make me intelligent or being black doesn't make someone stupid what we do with our lives how much we study and how much we use our brains is really important.
