All the answers above are valid ways to get to the system restore. One more piece of important information though....
You did not mention what version of Windows you are using. System Restore is only available on XP and Vista. If you are using 2000, ME, 98, etc., then there is no system restore.

Go to Control Panel, then the Help and Support Center on the left hand side, then click Undo changes to your computer with System Restore. :)

Boot into Safe Mode
Restart ur PC
Keep pressing F8 during boot until a menu pops up
From here select boot into Safe Mode
Once botted into Safe Mode, a dialog box will appear asking if you want to boot into Safe Mode or Use System Restore (Yes/No). Choose the obvious answer, and follow through the wizard.

u go to control panel in category view > performance and maintenance.. at the left hand side, click "see also" u can see the function "system restore" there..
