Last night I noticed that the red light that say faulty wiring is on my uninterruptible power service, it is all plugged in properly does anyone know why this light is on and won't go off. I have tried unplugging certain things, but it still stays on. I don't have anything else plugged into it besides stuff for the computer. Thanks.

The batteries might have become overcharged. It is even possible that some high voltage has destroyed your UPS circuirts. Anyway, I will advice that you first find other sources of power to insert your UPS power. If this does not work, you may have to be considering a change of battery and if you have some extra funds you may just have to buy a new.

Good luck

Read The Friendly Manual (RTFM) for your UPS and look for a trouble shooting section that explains what the lights are for and what they mean when they change.

Still Stuck? Call the manufacturer for tech support.
