No, you can add hubs to add more PCs. The limitation maybe on the number of IP addresses that ISP will give you. Some limit 4 or 5 IPs, if that is the case you'll need a router behind your modem, then you can setup your own DHCP and add over 200 PCs via hubs.. but switches are better for bandwidth allocation. Hubs make one large collsion domain.

How can you know the limit of your IPs? Run IPCONFIG and look at the subnet mask 255.255.255.0 has plenty of IPs, 255.255.255.240 (or any other number in the last octect) lowers the IPs you have.. (short explanation)

You can NOT connect 2 hubs to the same line, it will stop your connection. The BT home hub is actually a router, you need to either LAN cable connect extra equipment or use a wireless card. An ordinary hub will NOT help.

You dont need another subscription. It all depends on why you would wand to do that. If its because you require more connection ports, then you simply need a switch (hubs are by far obsolete). It will then share the internet connection you already have.

To do what you are asking would require a second phone line and another subscription. It would be much cheaper to get a wired or wireless router and hook that to your current DSL modem.
