No, I learned my lesson dating someone 19 years younger... Absolutely nothing in common except sex... Boring, empty, and a complete waste of my time.

Someone 25 years older is fine (with me). I've always preferred older guys coz I want to feel I'm being taken care of. I'm 31 and my bf is 41 and even if he's 56, i know i'd still love him just the same. Wrinkles don't matter to me, and I could see past a big gut and a receding hairline. Kindness, character, intelligence and understanding are what I'm looking for. And the last one seems a little hard when dating younger men. I have enough things to worry about and the least I can do is to spare myself from whiny little boys..lol. So i'm ok with older, not really with younger.

If I got along with the person, was attracted to him and like you said if we were both of legal age then yes, age shouldn't really be a factor. But that's just my opinion. Both people would have to be able to take the way everyone else may look at and treat them. It's not unusual in my family for women to go for men over 20 years older, it's happened a lot. So to me, it's not strange.

i am 66 but feel more like 45-50 so i would be more sexually attracted to some one in their early forties, i know this sounds a bit egotistic but woman my age do not turn me on. but the forty year olds would have to be mutually attracted also. so yes under the right circumstances i would date some one 25 yrs. younger. note: i have been single for 25 years so maybe if i was with some one my age all those years i may feel different.

Well, not 25 years younger...because they wouldn't actually be born yet and I like my guys with a pulse.
25 years older, yes. I've only ever dated older men (between 5 & 15 years older) I just find most guys my own age (or younger) to be a little too immature. But I wouldn't rule anyone out just because of their age.

When one of those in the marriage is 8 years old than a 40 year age difference is too much. Edit: Problem? This whole time I thought you liked it rough Wil.

I dated a 45 year old when I was 20. Didn't date for long, she wanted to be friends in the end. Which we did remain until she moved out of country, lost contact after that.

I have. When I was back in my 20's. She was hot. A college prof and a Lauren Bacall lookalike.
Women half my age are fun to make out with. But I don't know if I could do a relationship. Too much explaining to do. "Cleaning grass on an album cover? Well there used to be these things called 'Record Albums,' and Marijuana used to have seeds."

Sure I would Hun, but he will have 2 be older, I'm 24 and it could be a problem if he was 25 years younger, Besides I like older men, they are more experienced! I haven't dated guys younger then me I feel as if I will get in trouble if I do!

Well, it works for Demi and Ashton...lol. Okay, seriously, probably I would not have. In retrospect, though, it's not a bad thing. I think women would have much more fulfilling relationships with older men, than with some young stud who thinks he is the cock of the walk. Would I, as a woman, ever date a younger man? Never. Myself, I would never want to get naked with someone who looks better than I do when we get our clothes off.
