with so many people trying to do the same thing. I mean, the intertainment industy is constantly growing and needing new people, but what are the chances?

Realistically, the chances of being a famous / world class actor or actress are virtually nothing. Without having connections to major names in Hollywood or being extremely lucky, acting will probably never make you rich and famous.
Going into acting usually means embracing the 'Starving Artist' lifestyle. Unless you are extremely lucky, talented, and good looking you may have to work for years before you get your first break. It's pretty normal for would-be actors to wait tables or find other jobs while they audition for bit roles, commercials, and reality shows.

2 in 7, have chance? actually doing it maybe 1 in 25... it seems when hollywood needs the next big thing they appear out of the woodwork to act... Josh dumel where di he come from he's pretty good...

Not very high. Which is why I'm not gonna get a Theatre major, despite the fact that I LOVE acting.

Realistily It is who you know I think
You get that one big break and it goes from there
But it is who you know and who they know etc.. etc..
Only difference if you are scouted out in a mall
or store /
