hell no it's the most fucked up place ever..and it's just getting worse with each passing day

In some ways we are very lucky in this country (Scotland) because we have democracy and at times a good justice system - but on the other hand it can be awful. Where I live it is a small town and is usually not a problem to go out at nights, but recently there has been a big problem with drugs, which is very scary. Other things like people not being respectful of others worries me.

The older I get, the less I like it.
I see more mean spirits in everything now. People being humiliated on TV for the fun of others. Sport being won at any cost. The admiration of ignorance and stupidity, and the idea that the mentally ill represent some form of celebrity.
Actually, I despair of our society. I think it is poisonous.

Well, these question is difficult when you are not clear in your life that you will only live in the society YOU DECIDE TO LIVE, and that is the point!
I´m very happy with the people I see and have a relation because I was and I am the only one who decide with whom I will be friends, or see a lot...
But if you ask me about the world we live in...NO I am not that happy because I see priorities less than important for them, I see a lot of consumerism, violence, conformism, lack of values, dishonesty....etc....

Well, I used to disliked it, but now I think it's at least much better than the past... ^_^
The only thing I don't like about today's society is where everything needs to be instant... Like we're in a rush all the time... And well, as someone has mentioned, more evil in today's people's mind...

well the society i used to live in was much better than it is now...these days we have to lock our doors and make our homes safe, the society of today are born to young mums and dads and not raised the way they should be, kids get away with alot nowadays...
