I wouldn't worry about 4 lbs. But when I am feeling a bit down or house bound {because of ill health} I find myself eating or should I say picking? Sweetie, I wish I weighed that again. When I got married in 1959 I weighed 98 or 99 lbs. That was soaking wet. We all have our reasons for eating extras. We lost a lot of friends this year to cancer. I was so far down in the dumps it wasn't funny. Now 2 more friends have it. For me it is cheese and crackers or pecan clusters-something like Turtles--anything chocolate. Comfort food. xo

Depends on how much you weighed before then but don't worry I'm not going to ask you to reveal that because that's just rude.
I agree with Clo's answer or maybe in the meantime you could do a form of exercise you like and even doing rigorous chores like gardening in your garden can help burn off the Kg's.

I dont understand kg so I cant tell you if its bad or not lol
I keep myself positive by saying 'after Christmas' a lot, thats when I am going to start my healthy eating again
this time of year i think we all go into hibernation mode and eat loads so Ive given up eating sensibly until the new year!
Dont worry about it hun x

To gain that amount in one week is bad. What is up with you and your depressed feelings? I suggest you find some doctor or counselor or even a good friend to talk about them. Good luck, I care.

There is no need for looking back now ! The most important thing is, that you enjoyed every bite! Wait till after the holidays to get back in shape if you want ! I love to eat myself although, take care of my diet but NEVER FROM NOVEMBER TILL THE END OF DECEMBER !!! LOL !!

It is bad if your body is not healthy already... Otherwise if you are underweight, then it's alright...
But please don't do it again... Never exercise bad eating habit...
Eating when you're feeling depressed or angry actually makes it hard for the food to digest...
Whatever that made you depressed, do cheer up dear... ^_^

well it's best to lose than gain...you'll work that off in no time if you get out and about and try not to get depressed, instead of turning to food for comfort, go for a brisk walk or a bike ride...that's what i do....and in no time i feel much better...
