(OK, you know... I've thought about this topic!!!)
It's better, when someone else's woman wears high-heels to bed -- and that's the fantasy (purely visual). ..as "our women" (wives or steady gf's) seldom do -- because they understand the practicality of wearing shoes that may/may not have bar-floor grime/dirt/etc and carrying them into the bedsheets wear she is naked -- and probably will have to do the laundry the next day.
So, what makes heels sexy anyhow?
It's the curveature of her calf-muscle, as her heel/foot naturally bends forward in the shape of a high heel. Seriously, that calf-muscle's position/appearance sends an immediate message to a Man. Because that look is usually only achieved when a woman is reclining/on her back (toes pointing), naturally or on her tip-toes or on her all-fours with her feet flat (toes pointing). Without knowing it, he sees this as a trigger mechanism for SEX and SEXUAL positioning. Therefore the most sexually-charged images -- especially online -- will feature fantasy girls all hearing heels. Without anyone really thinking ALL that much about it, other than they realize the affect.

Generally, women should wear high heels more often -- it truly flatters their legs. It's very exciting to see a woman in sexy pantyhose and high heels on a bed, but troublesome while actually making love. That's why I gently remove my woman's 5" heels as we begin our night of pleasure.

Hi heals are great but to be honest I do prefer bare feet.
It is easier to lick and suck on her toes. Among other things.
