Raiders of the Lost Ark- Most action packed, adventrous and alot of fun, so much comedy and great story..i loved this one

Last Crusade- Such a close one, dis also had alot of action, adventure, best story and good cast as it had Harrison Ford and Sean Connery, alot of comedy and it is the best story...i loved this one too, a very close gap btween the First and this one

Temple of Doom- Sucked so badly, the worst adventure movie i have ever seen, no action, no adventure, no comedy and a sucking story, and such a sick movie, especially the scene wen they eat worms and spiders in the palace,

cant wait for Crystal Skull...i love Indiana Jones 1 and 3..and i am a big Harrison Ford fan

Best Indiana Jones

they were released Raiders first, Temple second, Last Crusade last, but, the years they were set in goes Temple of Doom(1935), Raiders(1936), Last Crusade(1939ish). There is a Fourth one in the works set to take place in the 1950's so Indiana Jones is about the same age as Harrison Ford, with the rumor being everybody who was in the first 3, that didnt get killed off, that is, will make a cameo. I hope that is true, how awesome would that be to see all of that talent in one place, and that would be just Sean Connery's trailer!!!

I liked the first film the best - it was so completely original and I really liked the relationship between him and Karen Allen.

The Last Crusade would be second - better story than the second installment and I liked Sean Connery as his dad. Thought it was a bummer that the love interest turned out to be bad.

Last place is the Temple Of Doom - I really liked the opening sequence when they were trying to get the diamond but it was all downhill from there. Kate Capshaw's character drove me up the wall as did the little boy. Ridiculous story too.

1. Raiders of the Lost Ark - It had everything. Romance, comedy, frights, mysticism, spiritualism, adventure, action, fighting...Not a dull moment in the whole movie.
2. Last Crusade - Connery was a great addition. They smartly returned to straight archeology, and went back to a religious artifact. Not as exciting as Raiders though.
3. Temple Of Doom - A lot of people didn't like this one. I did, but the female lead really got on my nerves, and I think the stories work better when they stick with the archeological aspect.

The order I liked them best in was #3, #1 and then #2. Loved Sean Connery as Indy's father.

Ditto to the first answer. Sean Connery made the second one for me but the first one was awesome. And I agree about the blond though I like the second one, too. Over all a terrific series of movies unlike some other series!

I'm going to have to disagree with the majority here, but oh well.

1) Last Crusade - the addition of Sean Connery (and the interaction between him and Harrison Ford) does it, in my book.
2) Raiders - a true classic.
3) Temple of Doom - just good fun.
