Slats was the first lion used born in Dublin Zoo, Ireland, used 1916 to 1924. He died in 1936

Jackie was the 2nd Lion used and appeared from 1928 to 1956

Tanner was next to be used and was used on all Technicolor MGM films (1934–1956) and cartoons (1938–1958, 1963-1967).

There was a fourth Lion introduced mid 1956

Finally Leo, the fifth Lion, introduced in 1957

Leo the Lion is the mascot for the Hollywood film studio Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, featured in the studio's production logo. (information from wikipedia which is probably true, maybe)
