It hit me like a bomb when I got married. A whole new life and when the kids starting coming along? I needed to grow up in a hurry. Now that doesn't mean I am not a BIG KID AT HEART. That will never change even when I turn 66 on the 10th Dec.

I thought it was when I had my first child.... 9 years ago. But then I realized I am not completely grown up because I do stuff with her that makes me feel like a kid.... This past summer I got my daughter to put dish soap into a neighbors pond they have on their front lawn..(no fish involved).. It was funny watching the bubbles come up over the edge of the pond and the neighbors wondering how it happen.....

I grew up when I purchased an engagement ring for my wife to be and told my parents I'm going to get married.
I became an adult when I became a parent.
It finally sank in when we became grand parents 8 months ago.

Well, I'm 42 and sometimes I feel like I'm 100 and have the weight of the world and other times I feel like I'm a kid......Want to get into everything. I don't think I'll ever truly "grow up ".

At heart, I am still a kid, although our teenager makes a point in calling me and my husband old every few minutes. BTW, I am 30+
