I would have put more effort into finishing college sooner than I did. I kept getting distracted by fun things to do, taking time off because I wasn't sure "what I wanted to be," and it ended up taking me nearly two decades to finish my bachelor's degree. I learned that there's not really a downside to jumping in and studying what you like, even if your parents and everyone else are telling you "you will never be able to make a living with an (English/Art/Philosophy/You-Fill-In-The-Others) degree.

In hindsight, I think most people will figure out what they want to do, step by step, and the best thing in looking back seems to me to be get started, stay on course, study what interests you, and get finished!

Probably not insult my in-laws by asking them for a diet soda and implying that they're fat the first time i went to their house

I would have stayed in Italy and come to my country of origin only for one week of holidays.

i wouldn't have lit up that first ciggarette ,,,,their were alot of things that popped into my mind,,but with each " shouldn't have done" things,,i learned something so in a way it was worth it ,, but I'd have so much more money and healthier lungs if i could have just said no to the ciggarette
