I just finished watching Sicko and I felt all the emotions Michael Moore wanted me to feel at the end I was two seconds away from starting a picket line, then reason caught up to me. I remembered all the lies and inaccuracies in Farenheit 9/11

The problem is I was a lot closer to events that happened in F 9/11 so it was easier for me to seperate fact and fiction. I know next to nothing about the situation with health care. So, now I'm looking for a fact-driven source that helps to seperate the truth, the lies and everything in between.

Thank you in advance

You should start looking into the facts Michael Moore states. This will help you better define your question and get better answers. People have the ability to bend anything to thier perspective. What you are doing is the perfect start to peeling back the layers of his story to find the truth. What he says might not be a lie but if he takes the truth from one perspective then molds it to his use, makes it a "not truth". Don't believe everything you hear on a whim. See all the facts and then make a judgement call. I'm not saying its good or bad but you have the correct question.

This movie makes you think, and I believe that was the intent of the movie. Why do you feel compelled to dissect everything he says? Yes, the movie reflects Moore's spin on the subject, but I would be more suspect of what President Bush tells us (talk about lies), or the news media trying to make news, rather than reporting the news (or brainwashing us with Poll results - which should be outlawed), or politicians voting the way their financial backers, lobbyists or party tell them to vote - rather than voting for what is best or fair for the people that elected them.
You will have to admit the insurance companies, medical professions (i.e. AMA), drug manufacturers, and politicians (both Republican and Democrat) have us by the testicles. If you don't like it . . . do what? You can't run for office unless you are a millionaire. The vast majority of people in America will not vote, or even register to vote. This country is run by the rich, religions, and the minorities.
Thanks Mr. Moore. Maybe your movies (even though not 100% factual) will make people think and vote.
