My g/f wears garter belts with stockings under her work clothes generally. I am curious if this is something woman do normally? I like it of course lol. But was still curious if she is just a rare and special find or is this more common than I believe? She is the first I have meet who does so but although I admit I am the one who convinced her to give it a try at first and now she seems to like wearing them. But I am not complaining.
I just wish I knew of a good place to find nice garter belts from other than VS or Fredericks. Also she does not like those 50's or 60's looking garter belts. In case someone gives me a link to such a site that specializes in that style. Such as secretsinlace.com. So do woman still wear such things?

Yes , especially in the winter. I love wearing jeans and heels, with sheer black stockings. They make my ankles look irresistible when they show. They are also fun to wear bowling or with a jeans or corduroy skirt. the contrast between the nylons and the cotton is really eye catching.
For the best garter belt and stocking selection go to stockingstore.com. A word caution, the little 4 strap garter belts are OK for the one size stretch stockings, but you need a better garter belt if you want to use the expensive ultra sheer non stretch stockings. They will bag if not held up properly, all the garter straps an the frilly ones are too long unless you are over 5'8". When I wear stockings, I want them very high, not down where I have to check my skirt every 5 minutes. Besides they are way more comfortable when worn high.

I wear stockings and a garter belt under my office clothes and especially in winter, under casual clothes, even jeans . I personally hate pantyhose as do most women my age, so I wear stockings by choice. Check out stockingstore.com they have the best collection anywhere I have found.

I always wear stockings and a garter belt to work everyday, and when I go dressed in heels. They are very comfortable, and way more preferable to pantyhose if you aren't trying to hide any cellulite or need a control top.
I get most of my stuff at stockingstore.com. They have a huge selection plus garter belts with short straps which allows me to wear stocking with nearly every outfit I have.

I wear a garter belt and stockings to work everyday, because I hate pantyhose, and wear them casually all the time. I even wear them with jeans and heels in the cool weather, or anytime I wear heels.
I buy all my stockings and garter belts at stockingstore.com. they have at least 50 styles. but I like the 6 strap styles with the short straps because the garters never show under my jeans or fitted skirts,

yes.. nowadays girls use metal belts for there pants but I think there are also girls who are wearing a garter belts. For me garter belts is much useful because any waist line can use garter belts than a real belt that has a limit to use belts.

I have to agree! It was part of the classier century. Women now a days don't really care about class, they don't realize the more classy you are the sexier you are. I'm 25 and I love to wear stockings and slips....my husband loves it too....especially when he helps take it off! More fun taking off several articles of clothing versus being completely naked underneath!

yes of courseit's very sexy and Vic's Secrets has sooo many to choose from. I own lots of diff. garter belts and many many pairs of stockings.soooo sexy.i love them so do men
