most people who are in the military and against gay people's enrollment are not really sure about their own sexuality (consciously or unconsciously). since while in war they are sexually deprived! otherwise why would they be against gay people's open participation then?

If you are going to risk your life then it must be to defend your buddies .

Korea saw mixed units with problems because of color .
The units did not seem to watch out for every member .
Things got a little better in Vietnam and still better as time went along .
Thats just racial divides .

Now how do you expect people divided by sexuality with as much Biblical hate against homosexuality that within the unit people would want the homosexuals killed .

We still have people being beaten up in the streets every week just for being homosexual .

This divide among homosexuals and heterosexuals in the military is something much different then skin color .

Homosexuality can not be overcome .

They will still check out the guys the same way guys check out women .

Maybe they could let the gays in if they were not in combat units .

Since most combat units rely on a very tight bond formed between men and such a bond is difficult to create if someone is Gay .
We can not have mary on the battle field crying .
Bad enough straight guys break down but I bet most of them are closeted homos anyhow .

Real men scream and yell and die rushing a machine gun
.
They do not polish their nails and play dress up .

False.

Homosexual males tend to be very feminine and dainty. Without appropriate aggression and competitiveness, the majority of them lack the war like attitude that would keep them focused and unquestioning of their commanders. This can easily put the battle group at risk.

There are many homosexual males that do not fit the girly flamer stereotype, but the majority of perception is the formation of the stereotype. Humans naturally and unavoidably form and use stereotypes.

So, no, a person can be very secure in their own sexuality and still not want people put into positions where their life may depend on that person just because they are homosexual.

false. your statement is somewhere between reaching, and idiotic.
the reason we have 'boundries' and have conservative laws, traditions, values and culture - is because without it, the world unravels quickly and becomes quite chaotic. people need bounds to push - it's human nature to go a little farther; to be an explorer or a rebel.. which is why we have laws that are often a touch constrictive.. because people dont like to stop. pot for example; noone cares, it doesn't matter that much - yet by making it illegal and other things harder to reach/whatnot.. it creates a sort of 'equilibrium' that makes things work better.
in several years, you'll probably start to see what happens when people push bounds too much - society itself breaks down. christianity - or LOVE (God) is the most powerful force of peace that we have, and people are quickly moving away from it. a world of wolves, is no world at all.

I don't think so. I believe sexuality should be a private thing between two consenting adults. It is no ones business who a person is committed to. I personally believe that for heterosexuals as well as homosexuals.

Ain't nobody's business but their own!

Edit: I do not condone homosexuality, but these are people the same as you and me, and I definately do not have any problems with my own sexuality, that is truly false.

False.

I do not speak for most people in the military, just one.. me. The current policy in the military is do not ask do not tell.

Your question appears to be based on rather misinformed information.
