Honestly? no, not at all.. much of what he advocates conflicts with his actual voting record..He spoke out against the Patriot Act, but then he voted in favor of reauthorizing it, he cannot commit to withdrawing the troops out of Iraq by 2013, possibly later.. He hasn't ruled out using strikes against Iran, not to mention the same vote he criticizes Hillary for, he missed himself and sponsored the exact same legislation designating the IRG a terrorist organization in back in April.. He implied that he would invade Pakistan, without the consent of their government.. He made votes making it more difficult for average citizens to sue big corporations.. He has no consistency on the issues of social security and taxes, in the very beginning he was for raising the cap, then having all options on the table, then appointing a bipartisan commission, now he's back to raising the cap.. He receives contributions from lobbyists, corporations and interest groups, despite his denials.. He promises "change" but he has neither the substance, the experience, nor desire to deliver this change..

I really had to think about this for a few minutes. The answer is yes and no. Though many have stated he does not have the experience, maybe that is a good thing because he is not so wrapped up in the lobbying game yet. On the other hand, he is for bigger government. He sees the feds as the only authority. See the below web page for statements made by Obama regarding immigration. I think he would make a very good vice president. But the choices for president are bleak.

I worry about his lack of experience, given that the last two less experienced Presidents, President Carter and the current President Bush, both were relatively inexperienced and proved to be below average Presidents, whereas Presidents Reagan, Bush 41, and Clinton were more experienced and were all pretty good Presidents. But I do think he is well intentioned and has many good ideas, and has potential to unite people, which is something I think we definetley need, and something that I think that Hillary Clinton cannot do.

No he is too inexperienced in the political circle, how does he expect to work with the house and the senate. He needs a few more years of grooming in the capital before making the trip to the white house.
Second he has yet to answer to the claims that he grew up in an Islamic extremist environment including time at a Islamic grade school at perched some of the most extreme Islamic rederic.

Obama is a great orator and has many good qualities.

I feel he does not have enough experience to be President in this election. Possibly some time in the future.

Barack Obama might have some good points on critical issues but it is Hillary Clinton who has addressed most of the problems of the people.

VOTE for your choice as US president on my 360 degrees blog and know who will likely win.

He's my first choice at the moment. I think he'll do well as president.
But i really hate it when he stresses that he was the only one of the candidates who was against the iraq war from the beginning. I mean, we get it! THe point now is how is he going to change the situation?

I have confidence that he would do his best and that he has our countries best interests at heart. It's difficult to say whether he would be a great president, but I don't think he would be a bad one.

No. He wants universal healthcare, and his way to pay for it would not cover the whole price of it without raising taxes to very high rates.

But, he feels the need to eliminate poverty, and I say God bless the man. If he ever gives up on universal healthcare, he would have my vote.
