That the locals stop destroying there marine life with dynamite and other illegal means of fishing. God has blessed this country with such beautiful marine life and corals and it seems that all the people want to do it destroy it. Why is man like that? I know this problem is not only here in the Philippines it's everywhere, but we are talking about the Philippines now.
I love the Philippines ( I've lived here since 81) and it saddens me seeing what I have seen as a scuba diver. Many Filipinos don't dive and don't know what I' talking about. Most Filipino's favourite food is FISH and they would eat it three times if they had a chose.
President Ramos was a diver and tried to do something about it, at least he did manage to slow the destruction down a bit. If I may say something else, I also would wish that the shipping lines like Negros shipping lines and the Superferry lines stop dumping there garbage in the ocean, there must be another way to get rid of the trash, please don't dump any more. No fish ever trashed your house. I can hear 86 million voices now, if you don't like it go back to your own country!
Ay naco
Mabuhay Philippinas! and God Bless please take care of your country, you only get one.

I wish for a corruption free government, a strong stable currency and economy, I wish poverty could be at least greatly reduced if not eliminated, and I wish that there were more opportunities for good paying jobs in the Philippines so that there would not be a need to become an OFW and separate families, and Filipinos would only have to live their lives outside of the Philippines by choice, and not by necessity.

My wish for the Philippines is bring down every corrupt officer of the government and give them life imprisonment. Also to eliminate all the negative traits of a filipino.

I wish for peace that will last forever and justice that can't be obstructed. The citizens of the Philippines are already tired of this dramatic governance. The Legislative and the Executive Branch must be changed into a branch of order and law-making. Every negative effect really does exist in this nation. Condemnation, Impeachment complaints, Scandals, Controversies, Anti-government actions, extra-judicial killings, Poverty, CORRUPTION, violence, lack of political professionalism, CRIME, POLLUTION, excessive injustice, TERRORISM and other varieties of negative characteristics of this nation must be eliminated. Is this the basis of our uniqueness? ANGER, HATRED and other emotions are flowing among the filipinos. We were once a subject to a tug-of-war between our colonizers. This is a nation where its natural and political credibility is ultimately lost. Is this a cause of global condemnation? I conclude that our government, our people and our state is not capable to manage a civilization of positivity and patriotism. What's missing is loyalty, nationalism, love, respect, discipline, positive uniqueness and justice (the true application of the rule of law). Its education must improve.

I am a filipino who wishes that democracy must be immediately restored and make the people realize that this nation must be changed into a truely democratic republic. I wish for a positive utopia. I culturally like the nation but politically hate the nation. What I am telling here is what the truth is of the Philippines.

I wish that the Philippines should have a stable foreign currency rate conversion so that We the OFW will be secured to get a well paid job in the countries we preferred to work at and be able to secure a good life for our future without worrying “how much we could save up tomorrow while we are in our present salary scheme in the companies we are working with against the unstable status of the US dollar….

I am so affected really especially my savings account.

I wish one day all the Filipinos out there will unified as one not just for blah blah blah but for the real action to save our precious little country from falling in the hands of big time corruptor. The Philippines have so much potential in terms of culture, tourism, economy, and producing world class professionals.

It’s just so sad to imagine that only few of us believe on what best things our country can do for us.

I wish the Philippines go through an extensive nationwide leadership workshop and realize how much they are taking from their own people.
and hopefully this would be a turning point for all of us for a better tomorrow.

some foreigners i met shared an impression that "Filipinos take advantage of Filipinos" i was shocked, I never thought of that! and i think its true.

I wish for all the call centers in india to move to the philippines.

Those people there in the phils need jobs and they are the 3rd largest english speaking country in the world. I'd rather chat with some tasty filipina any day if I have to contact someone in a call center.
