When GW was trying to appease the libs by going through the UN first before attacking, there was a convoy of trucks spotted heading towards Syria....I would bet money that that is where the WMD's ended up.

We know that Saddam used WMD on the Kurds and do we believe that he used every last drop up at that time. Don't forget that he kicked the weapons inspectors out in the 1990s . Could it be that they were getting too close. President Clinton stated pretty much the same information about Iraq's weapons of mass destruction in a speech during his second term that Colin Powell and President Bush stated prior to the invasion. So if the information was faulty then the faulty information started before Bush took office and if it was a lie then didn't the lie start before Bush took office.

nicely through exterior impacts the US has no longer invaded those international locations because of the fact the international reaction does no longer be stable. For one ingredient they might lose the help of NATO interior the present Afghan operations and then the US may be on my own and meaning 2 international locations it is coping with. extra family with China and Russia might flow interior the dumpster and at the instant the US owes China a number of money. So China might very own the US. No the US is taking the greater diplomatic attitude and attempting to get greater of the international to artwork with it somewhat than against. there are such a number of undesirable thoughts in the direction of the US for Iraq that it will take years of positive international family to rectify. even nevertheless the US is between the main important givers of foreign places help and does a number of stable international there are thousands and thousands who do no longer supply credit for this good artwork and giving.

That is the 64000 dollar question to which we do not have any adequate answer.
Let's start with what we do know:
We know that Hussein had a weapons program.
We know that he had used these weapons in the past.
We know that he obfuscated and in every way possible obstructed proper inspections.
What we don't know is what really happened to these weapons. Personally I doubt that these weapons were still in the country at the time of the invasion. The reason is because he had to know that this was the end for him and therefore would have had no reason not to use them against invading troops had he possessed them at the time.
I also suspect that there is much about this whole issue which we are not being told by the government.

Hard to say, although I remember from the beginning being suspicious about the claims that Saddam had WMD. Don't get me wrong, Saddam was a horrible guy who basically got what he deserved, but I also remember thinking that he was probably smart enough not to be stockpiling WMD. Saddam was likely pretty comfortable in his position, with all his castles and yacths, he could do pretty much anything he wanted. But he knew that he was basically on the bad side of the US, since the Gulf War, and particularly on the bad side of President Bush. He likely saw a threat to the US toppling him, after 9/11 and as part of the War on Terror campaign. So, as I remember, he complied with the UN inspectors, and the evidence presented to us that he may have had WMD, which more or less consisted of satellite pictures which were inconclusive at best, I really doubted that he was a real threat. I think he knew he was really no longer a major power, we more or less stopped his invasion of Kuwait in the early 90s and therefore limited his power, but he still was comfortable in his position and I really doubted that he would risk that by doing something as risky as stockpiling WMD.

There are photos, from satellites, showing caravans of trucks, going from where there were 'suspicions, and intelligent reports' of 'stashed' wmd's, into Syria. There are also photos of Russian military cargo planes, flying from parts of Iraq, into Syria, Jordan, and Libya. About 2 years ago, Qaddafi of Libya, decided that he did not want another air strike, by the USA, upon his Palace's nor upon his family. Remember that we did attack his Palace, several years ago, and in the attack, one of his daughters was killed. THAT action STOPPED his direct supporting terrorist activities, and he does not want a repeat !
About a month ago, the Israeli Air Force, bombed a Syrian munitions site, AFTER their intelligence learned, and confirmed that Syria had the making (materials) to manufacture "DIRTY ATOMIC WEAPONS" !!!!
Now, does anyone believe that Syria has been working, on their own, to manufacture Atomic weapons?? If so, I would LOVE to discuss your buying, from me- for cash, the RIO GRANDE RIVER, from just north of El Paso, Texas, all the way to South East of Brownsville, Texas. Just think, if you owned the Rio Grande River, you could make Muy Mucho (very many) BILLIONS of dollars, charging the illegals a toll, to cross !!!!!

We found more than the media likes to divulge. I remember reports of them in the early days and now, it is as though not a one ever existed.
I agree with most here that the vast majority went abroad before our arrival.
He definitely had them and even if we are all wrong about that, he sure wanted everyone to believe he did.

...I believe they were moved, probably into Syria. It might be worth looking in the local rivers there, for "sunken treasure." Sadam and his flunkies were given plenty of time to dispose of the WMD. I'll bet we would have found plenty if we had gone in quickly.
...Even if the WMD's were not there, that scoundrel Sadam violated the UN directives over and over, besides slaughtering his own people.

Start with the links I supplied below.
If 1500 gallons of chemicals and 500 TONS of yellow cake uranium doesn't constitute WMDs what does?
