I believe that homosexuality is learned and not born into. Humans are the only species to "choose" homosexuality. Question: what would be the outcome of a homosexual planet, continent, country, or enen state? I'm hetero, however I'm not condemning, please let me make that clear. But with much personal research into the subject I have concluded within myself that it is neither born into or born as. I have both gay & bi friends & have open-mindedly and respectfully listened to them, even more I payed attention to what I didn't hear. Everything "told" me that it's definitely learned.

we may have been born with some inclinations - like a tall guy may be inclined to be a basketball player - but most of this was done to us early in life. the most common causes are a poor connect with dad and an over tight bond with mom -- and the wars between them. there are other social causes as well, but none as clear as that.
the days when scientists just looked for genes and hormones and physical causes is ending and all the real research is coming back -- at last, at last.

People who are not homosexual do not understand. They think we made the choice to be gay because for most of our lives we've had to hide it to try to live up to the straight standard and fit in. Eventually there comes a point where you don't want to hide it anymore. You don't want to have that weight on your chest so you come out. That makes it appear that a straight person made the choice to be gay when in fact they were really gay to begin with.

Gays are more likely to come from divorced homes raised by their mother than to have other gays in their family tree.
We all choose whom we have sex with. We always have the option of just walking away. No one is forced to have sex.

it's a very interesting subject. it developed in me over some years up to and beyond puberty, and then disappeared in my twenties. i can't account for it, so i don't think it's a matter of personal choice, but nor do i think it's something innate. it's maybe a bit like being left-handed, which i think is somehow cultural....
