I went to see it last night and didn't think it was that good. The computer enhanced graphics made it look like you were watching a glorified cartoon!
I mean, Ray winstone hasn't got a body like that!
Was it just me?

i have mixed feelings with the movie. the effects were good, and it's the best adaptation of beowulf that i've seen. but then, while watching it, i felt that it could have been better if they shot it in live action instead of CGI. there are scenes that look like a video game. if they made it live action, it could have looked like lord of the rings. i was hoping it would look like lord of the rings, but it falls short on that. it's a good movie, but it's not that good.

the trailer thingy alone put me of. And I know the beowulf poem thing, i'm not sure where they got half the story for the movie from as its nothing like that.
