For aslong as HUMANS has been star gazing... The BEST anyone has ever been said or reported to be a witness of are things like [spotting Un`identified-Flying-Objects(U.F.O's) !?! Which could be an amazing number of things !!?!!; Such as something called debris !! & some of that debris could be as large as cars, houses, buses !?! etc. Now as`far as on other planets.. I guess could somehow be possible!?! IF say for instance a planet that might be revolving a stsr-like What we here on Earth call a (SUN) !?! But until "I" see for myself any clue that's not sOo symbolic & would have or tell more of its secrets with simple examinations or observations either using a telescope or some media reports that has been investigated to the fullest!?! I say if there is: We as Humans might only get to have contact if it was some sort of drastic shift of things as in galaxies that would put one in a position that if we on Earth built & sent a satellite to It may still take about two thousand ninety five Billion Earth years to get to !?!. Therefore "IT D0`NT MATTER TO ME"~!!! "Mankind will NEVER invent a technology for the task !! SOo "Save your money" !!! or use it to help the sick & hungry of the world!. "Furthermore.. "If it's ever found out that we Earthlings are'nt the only life or intelligent life in the universe & they have no clue of ``a``~God... "Might BE THE DAY I BURN MY Bible"~!!!~!!!. rRr... "Oh my goodness ((Kumara)) loved your statements !! `'R"r.r`r,r'.-

Yes, I certainly believe that there is life in another parts of the universe.
We humans, cant be as much selfish, and believe that all the universe was created only bcoz of us.
May be life in other places is not the same way we are used to it. May be the beings in another planets, or galaxies dont need the same elements that we do, to survive on them
Who knows? That life can be more intelligent than our......or not... but surely, we arent alone.

Wow...I must say that the answers you have recieved so far have surprised me to some extent.
My opinion, like dear Jeddo's, also has to do with what I have learned from the Bible...and while the Bible does not specifically say "God created life on earth and on no other planet", the fact that it ONLY mentions the creation of life on earth is notable.
My belief, too, is that all life originated with an intelligent designer, intelligently designing!! That, of course, would rule out evolution, which would rule out the possibility of life "evolving" on other planets.
Now...if you had asked my opinion on whether there is other intelligent life in the universe, I would say yes...because the Bible DOES talk of God creating many, many non-human intelligent creatures...angels.
But, life on other planets...no.
Hope my answer wasn't too convoluted...

Yes.

By definition life is a condition manifested by growth through metabolism, reproduction, and the power of adaptation to environment through changes originating internally.

Life on earth is based on building carbon with water elements.

Life on other planets doesn't have to be intelligent as most people imagine. Other living beings don't have to look green and human like.

Taking into consideration the size of our universe, it is more probable that extraterrestrial life exists.

well i don't believe there is life in other planets because if there was those life forms would be seen or would appear in the White House or the Vatican in public, not in hiding. but who knows only God. i do believe we are alone.

It's pretty self centered and egotistic of man to assume that God created this vast universe just for him. And for those who claim that conditions on other planets is not suitable for life, who on earth said that all life forms have to survive under conditions similar to ours?! Man is very narcissistic at times.

I do believe that we are definitely not alone in this universe, and that God is capable of creating a multitude of diverse creations not necessarily comprehensible to our minds.

offcourse we are not alone! i am positive that on other planets there are "Aliens!!" well not aliens, but creatures! They may be smartet than us or not, hotter than us! or not, but i feel that they have a very very very different live than ours, and offcourse they also wonder if they were alone, really how freaky! and maybe on other planets in our system there are creatures that are invisible or that we cant see. u never know, this world is full of secrets, that no one knows about it except God.
Imagine those creatures calling us "Aliens" lol!!!
