My Mom is forcing me to wear bras!?

I am 14 and my mother is 42. Why can my mother walk around bra-less in the house but i cant? She walks around bra-less in front of dad and brother (15) and she is 38 C!
I am 'barely-there' (32 A) and if I go braless even for 1 day, she screams her head off.

Even at the beach, she wears the tiny string bikinis and thongs and I have to wear the granny bikinis. I want sexy stuff too! Help!!!!!!

well number one, you can see nipples or loose skin/breast even when small. this can draw unwanted attention for someone young.

and also. wear a bra! i wore a bra from the day i developed really, and mine are 32DD's and havent sagged!

no matter what size you are when your older you dont want saggy boobs

Explain to her that to her that the bras are not comfortable. Ask to be fitted by a professional. These are found in high end stores unless you are really in a big city. Then explain to the professional what your concerns are. While support is important, at your age it also necessary for the bra to breathe and be flexible. Possibly a different fabric would help. If that doesn't work, save your allowance and buy some different styles and sizes until you find what is comfortable for you. Remember to take your mom's concerns into consideration. Cover those nipples, think support, not cleavage. My daughter is well endowed. She suggests using baby powder or bath powder in the areas where you usually sweat. She carries a small travel size powder with her. If she feels sweaty, she just sprinkles on some powder in the restroom. Try it, it's a cheap fix, if it works for you. As to whether or not it worth the battle... you have to decide that yourself. There's a saying out there," Don't sweat the small stuff." On the other hand, from a mother's point of view, if the most rebellious act my daughter did was to argue about bra styles, I would count myself a lucky woman. Maybe your mother will realize that it's not worth sweating the small stuff, like what style bra you are wearing. If all else fails, remember you have only about five years to put up with this. Once you are 18 you can order from Victoria's Secret or go bra less if you want.

Tell your mom you simply feel uncomfortable when wearing a bra, Tell her how you feel. Don't listen to all of this people who think bras can actually help, I'm telling you from expierence. I always wore bras, but my boobs still became a bit saggy, my mother also wore bras ever since she hit puberty. But her boobs still got saggy.

If you're interested in knowing how to avoid sagging you can look for breast massages, they help you lessen the sagging.

Even If your boobs get saggy, there's always men who love saggy breasts so don't worry about that.

Tho with the thong I must disagree. That's a bit too far, dear.

Actually you should wear one out of respect. Respect for them and your own body. Waring one now greatly limits the chance of them sagging later!

I am a nudist but wear a bra when clothed unless in the shower or getting ready for bed or braless with a shirt on cleaning house...then again I am in my 30's!

She is an adult and your mother...you will have to abide by her rules until you turn 18 and move out. A bra may hurt or be uncomfortable while she's at home. You're too young to be thinking about sexy stuff..so put on a bra and cover yourself up! Try being 14 and not 24...school should be your main concern!

let me just say one thing, bra less isnt so much sexy, actually for most ladies, its gross. wear a bra, dont worry about your mother. why would you want to be bra less in front of your dad and brother anyways.

at ur age u need to wear a bra so that ur breats will.. well look better.. tho do not wear one all the time because then u will not b uset to not wearing one so wen u try not to wear one it may hurt.. true ur mum may b a bit jeiouls because u r younger sexyer and she is older and not as sexy as she uset to b she may be tryin to hide ur breats away but a bra is also there to protect them.. i mean would u really want to do sport not in a bra (eg. running, high jump, long jump stuff like that) if u where not to wear a bra while doing sports the muscle, skin ect. in ur breats will tear streach and end up saging so u will look older than u r wen u have no top on ect. that is wat they are made for to protect.. not hide.. some even make ur breats look bigger or smaller.. hope that helps u understand..

Your mother is trying to protect you. Girls that don't wear bra's can attract boys, and they can um rape and assault you. You can wear sexy bra's also, you know? But not too sexy. Whenever I go out, before I do that, my mother always says, 'Wear your bra!' Except mine is not the granny bikinis. Just stay calm. Your mother just wants to protect you. explain to your mum how youn feel and if you feel you can't do that then go shopping with a group of friends and then pick out a bikini and some underwear you like and then take them home and wear them instead but i think there might be some deeper jelousy issues here though or maybe your mum's just worried that if you wear sexy stuff then youll get interested in sex too soon

Ibet she doesn't go braless in public. She is making you so that you get use to wearing a bra, even when out of the house. Boys will notice when youa re not wearing one. We say things and tease and try to get you to flash your breasts when your braless. We try to touch you and accidentally bump into you. It sounds stupid, but it's true.
Mom is doing it to pretect you. Plus she knwos that growing and developing, youre breasts and nipples may be sensitive to just a t shirt.
