I have a 30 gig ipod video. It works fine, but suddenly, when i plugged it into my computer to upload some new songs onto it, my computer isn't able to read it. this notice keeps poping up saying 'USB Device Not Recognized'. how can i make it so that my computer can read my ipod?

Check and see if your drivers are up to date, I had the same problem with a camera.

Just unplug it. Switch your iPod off and plug it in again. If that doesn't work, just reset your iPod holding in the select and the play buttons for 5 seconds. Or just restart your computer.

Are you putting it into the usual port? If so and is still not working uninstall, download and reinstall the updated ITunes. They just came out with a new ITunes again and i had to download and reinstall the new version. Good luck

Try plugging the USB wire into another socket.

if you have a pc instead of a mac, it can't read your ipod. you need a mac. if you have a mac, and it isn't reading your ipod then it's time to call mac and have it fixed.
