I've read that having sex 1 day before ovulation, on the day of ovulation and one day after ovulation increases your chance of having a boy by almost 90%! You need to be charting or checking your cervical fluid or at least do an ovulation test to know when it is you ovulate. I also just read recently that if your virginal environment is too acidic, then your chances of having a boy is very low. So your vaginal environment needs to be alkaline. You can google this to learn how to make it alkaline (diets, douching, etc). I have a daughter and I intend trying for a boy next month. I am planning to use these methods I have learned about and hope it works. I know that God makes the ultimate decision though!

Im sorry to tell you this but you cant increase the chance of concieving a boy, its a 50 / 50 chance what you get. Ive heard so many tales like your bed has to face north to south etc. You should be happy that you have a health baby what ever the sex, trust me ive lost a boy and id love to have anotther, but at the end of the day i have 3 beautiful girls and they are all a gift from god

My husband bought this book with our first on how to have a boy. We followed all the rules. We have a beautiful daughter. I'm pregnant with #2 and will hopefully find out tomorrow if it's a boy or a girl. We didn't try for one or the other this time - just to get pregnant.

There is no way to change the chances. There are a bunch of wives tales and the such, but last time I checked there was no scientific proof proving anything.
