What are some "asian scales" you can teach me?

I'm not quite sure how to ask this, but I'm trying to learn music scales that sound a bit asian.

I know asian scales might use somewhat of a pentatonic type of sound.

Asians like to eat fish. Fish have scales on them. That is the lesson for today young grasshopper ;P
